Off to Cape Town!

The pilgrims gather with Flat Jesus in the parking lot before catching MARTA to the airport!

Each summer, groups of youth pilgrims from the All Saints' Atlanta confirmation class journey on pilgrimage to seek God through friends and strangers, art, culture, history, and the wonder of creation.

This Wednesday morning, fourteen of us departed for our ten day pilgrimage to Cape Town, South Africa. While in Cape Town, we will learn about the history of apartheid at the District 6 Museum, participate in Pentecost worship at St. George's Cathedral where Archbishop Desmond Tutu served, visit Robben Island where Mandela was held captive, go on safari, and climb Table Mountain.  It promises to be the adventure of a lifetime, and we look forward to sharing it with you. Stay tuned!
