We have arrived in Frankfurt. Being up all night put us all in a Zen-like state (according to Lucy).
One of the daunting challenges of pilgrimage is settling in to some new ways of being in a foreign place. One of the first things I am conscious of is that Americans are really loud. We tend to own even the public space with our nasal toned, kind of brassy voices. I wonder what it will take for us to be more conscious as travelers? Sleep will help!
