Mad Rush to the Journey

So after another very full work week, I finally made it home around 7pm last night to throw in a last load of laundry, run out for pizza, back home to pack and work on the Friday ENews. And it’s really not easy to pack while you’re proof reading, text messaging with your sister, folding clothes, checking the weather in Killarney, and then realize that the suitcase you planned to use is no where to be found.

8 am Friday morning found me in the Walmart luggage aisle. Met Kathy later at All Saints’ expecting to Uber to the airport, Uber app didn’t work, ran to Marta, quick load up on the Breeze card, Marta to the airport, wait for the shuttle to the international terminal...

Breathe.

We’ve made it to JFK and are now in layover mode. Finally beginning to feel the stress of the ATL melt away. Looking forward to relaxing and allowing myself to listen, feel, and experience the world as it moves around me and I move in it. This journey is on.
