New York and then Shannon- Lucy

We have made it to New York! We made our flight with time to spare, and flew with great ease to New York. As I write this blog, we are all complaining of a loud beeping/buzzing noise behind me. Though this is extremely annoying, this has been the only annoyance so far. Our 5 hour lay over has really tested our patience :) but we are enjoying one another's company. Adelaide and I have learned to "synthesize beats", and although I still don't know exactly what that means or exactly how it works, I have enjoyed learning something new in a very unlikely place. We are all very excited for our actual arrival in Ireland, and we are doubly excited that the obnoxious beeping noise has suddenly stopped!
