Love was the Theme- Isabelle and Josie

       

       "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength." Deuteronomy 6:1

         Love was a huge theme amongst today's events. We started off by loading our stuff on the van to leave Omish and head back to Split for the last three nights of our journey. Once we arrived in Split there was nothing stopping us. First we went to the Church of Good News and met a lovely member named Patricia. She is quite a young member and through her story was able to shine a light on the importance and meaning of our pilgrimage and will be to us in the future. In addition, since she is a tour guide in-training, Patricia provided us with a detailed your Diocletians Palace. Today we split into groups and  explored the beautiful city of Split using a scavenger hunt provided by our trip leader Ken Janke. The history behind the city was amazing- particularly the bell tower. It went up so high, and we were able to see an amazing view of Croatia. We then bonded over lunch with our individual groups and I really began to see God through the friendships that were forming. The church service tonight was hard to understand because it was all in Croatian but the presence of God emanated through and connected 

everyone together making it a really amazing experience for everyone.
